Most probably Portugal could become one of the first countries to agree to an “air-bridge” with UK, as it will be allowing citizens to travel between both countries to avoid quarantine measures. In the upcoming days the first wave of Air Bridge will be announced and the flights to those destinations will resume from July 4th. An announcement is expected from Boris John by June 29th that deals have been put in place for so-called air bridges with a small number of countries with low levels of corona-virus with them, which clearly means that tourists will be able to go on a holiday without having to spend 14 days of quarantine when they return, as per the new travel updates for Portugal.

Manuel Lobo Attunes (Portugal’s ambassador to UK) said that the nation was keen to come to an agreement that would allow the British tourists to return this summer for their vacations or travel. As per that most probably Portugal hoping to be among first countries with quarantine free “air-bridge” to UK. According to the recent newspapers the government is focusing on countries such as France, Spain, Greece and Portugal.
